People Let Me Tell You 'Bout My Best Friend...

So, when we found out we were having a baby, people were foaming at the mouth to tell us how jealous and resentful our dog, Lincoln, would be of the baby. See, we (Ali...) spoiled Lincoln. He's been king of the castle from day one.

It has been quite an adjustment for poor Lincoln. He is jealous of the baby but he doesn't show it in the way you might expect. He's always been a vocal dog that lets you know he wants something by whining or howling...and now he's a bit louder. he dances around at the feet of people holding Willy and tries to sit in between Willy and whoever is paying him any attention.

Most of the time, however, Lincoln can be found laying at the foot of Willy's crib or, as you see in the photo, laying near Willy and looking at him. And don't get us started on the "drive-by licking" Lincoln does when Willy's in his swing or bouncey chair! And Willy loves Lincoln in return. He coos and smiles at him and tries to grab him. We can only imagine their love affair will grow stronger when Willy starts to drop food on the floor...

One night, it actually snowed in Fair Oaks! Greg and Lincoln went out to capture it on video and Linky got to play fetch with a snowball...

Born October 25, 2009, weighing in at 9 lbs. 14 ozs., 21.5 inches long. He's already changed so much and he's only 2 months old!

With the addition of William to our family, we obviously have tons of pictures and videos to share with everyone. Rather than bombard your in-boxes with a ton of attachments, we decided to start this blog where we can post all that stuff and post updates all in one place. That way, you can follow us and check in every once and while or not- we'll never be the wiser!
